Show Day / SeriousPlay Games
Privacy policy
Last updated: October 11, 2026
This policy covers the Show Day game and its marketing website, provided by SeriousPixel, LLC, doing business as SeriousPlay Games. It describes the current browser-based version.
1. What stays in your browser
The game stores progress, save slots, settings, crew career information, replay data, and saved creative work such as cue programs, shot plans, and performance timing reviews in your browser’s local storage. Replays record game events and simulation state; they are not recordings of your microphone, webcam, or screen.
The current game does not require an account or automatically upload these saves to us. Saves belong to the browser and website address where you created them. Clearing site data, using private browsing, or changing browsers can remove or separate your progress.
2. Website and game delivery
This marketing site does not use advertising trackers, third-party analytics, tracking cookies, newsletter forms, or social-media embeds. Its fonts, images, and scripts are served with the site. The current game uses browser storage for its features, rather than advertising tracking.
When you visit a hosted website or load game assets, your browser sends technical information, such as your IP address, requested file, browser information, and request time, to the hosting provider. Hosting services may keep operational or security logs under their own policies. This is separate from your locally stored game saves.
3. Backups, imports, and device controls
Exporting a backup or authoring file downloads a file to your device. Importing a file reads the file you select to restore or edit game data. These actions do not automatically send the file to SeriousPlay Games. If you send a backup to someone else, that person receives the information in it.
Where supported, camera-operation motion controls may request permission to use device orientation. The current game uses those readings locally for controls; it does not record video or audio from your device.
4. Information you send us
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include. We use that information to answer your request, provide support, and address privacy or security issues. Please avoid sending unnecessary personal information. We keep correspondence as needed for these purposes or applicable legal obligations, then delete it when it is no longer needed.
5. Sharing and external links
We do not sell your local game data or use this site to share it for targeted advertising. Hosting and email providers process information needed to deliver their services. We may disclose information you have provided where required by law or necessary to protect legal rights or security.
Links to other websites, including The Pixel Pulse Players, take you to services with their own privacy practices. Following a link is optional; those websites are not embedded in this site.
6. Your choices
You can manage or remove local data using the game’s save controls and your browser’s site-data settings. Export a backup first if you want to retain your work. We cannot recover browser-only saves that you delete.
To ask about information you have sent us, or request access, correction, or deletion where applicable, email [email protected]. Rights and exceptions depend on applicable law. We may need to verify that a request relates to you.
7. Children and changes
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the game. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can address it.
If we add accounts, online services, analytics, purchases, or other features that change these practices, we will update this policy before those practices take effect. The date above identifies this version.
